Copshop Review

I didn't really hear of this movie till recently, but it is one of them movie's that you might think will be okay, but it exceeds your expectations. Copshop is action packed and in my opinion one of the most entertaining movie's I have watched recently.

Copshop has some big names like Gerrard Butler and Frank Grillo. But the actor that really stands out in this movie is Alexis Louder. Her acting really steals the show and makes Copshop what it is. The tension in this movie is really well done and always keeps the audience guessing on what will happen next. Almost all of the movie takes place at the police precinct. You might think it will get stale being in the same location throughout, but there are so many layers and awesome action scenes in the movie that makes the audience not care about being in the same location. I'm not a fan of movie's that are in the same location throughout, but the action and the characters really pulled me in to the story to not care.

All of the characters have personalities to them, even the side characters in the movie. There are three main characters who are Valerie Young who is the cop, Teddy who has a price on his head and Viddick who is trying to kill Teddy. Towards the start of the movie Teddy punches Valerie so he can get put in jail, and the people that are trying to kill him can't get him. But we see Viddick get put in jail so he can get to Teddy. They are placed in opposite cells. Throughout the movie we get funny exchanges between Teddy and Viddick which lightens the movie. On top of all that we get another character that is trying to kill Teddy who is called Anthony Lamb. Lamb is another character that brings humor and starts off all of the craziness of the movie.

Overall Copshop is one of those movie's you get once a year that surprises a lot of people and get's a cult following. It is full of action and violence, and a lot of twists and turns that shock the audience. Plus all of the actors really showed off there acting skills and made the movie fun.

Verdict - 8/10

If you like fun films that don't take themselves too seriously, than this is the movie for you. It is full of action, and has a lot of surprising twist and turns. I highly recommend giving this movie a go, and I promise you won't come out disappointed.
