Ozark S4 Part 2 Review

Ozark in my opinion is the best Netflix series on the platform, and season 4 did not disappoint. We carry on from when Ruth is angry that her cousin got killed, and she finds out that Javi killed him. So she goes to find Javi to get her revenge. Just when the Bird family thinks they have got out, there lives get turned upside down again by Ruth's actions.

The season overall tied up a lot of loose ends, and there was enough drama to keep Ozark from getting stale. Throughout the season there were a lot of twist and turns, and some of the decisions the characters made were frustrating. These decisions had grave consequences for some of the characters, especially at the end. The acting from all of the cast was first class, and really made the show the hit it became on Netflix.

There is not really anything negative to say about the last season. The first half of the season was interesting, but I got really annoyed with the exchanges between Jonah and Wendy. But I understand why, and that is because Jonah is at the age when he wants to rebel against his parents. But Wendy handles the situation poorly, and drives Jonah out of the house. The second part of the season was a lot better than the first, and in my opinion is one of the best endings for a show in recent times.

Verdict - 8/10

The season overall was entertaining and filled with drama throughout, which had grave consequences at times. The performances from the cast was brilliant as always, and the show tied up a lot of loose ends. If you have not watched Ozark, or have not seen season 4 yet. I would highly recommend watching this show, because in my opinion it is the best series Netflix has produced on the platform.
