Moon Knight EP4 Review

Moon Knight

We start off the episode with Steven unconscious, and Layla trying to wake him up. But then a group of people in a car try to shoot them. Layla blows the car up with the people in it and manages to escape. After this encounter Steven and Layla begin to look for the tomb that holds Ammit, and get there before Harrow finds it. Layla and Steven find a cave where Ammit's tomb is suppose to be. As they are exploring the cave, a zombie comes after them. They split up and Layla ends up defeating the zombie by throwing it off the cliff.

Steven finds the tomb of Alexander the Great, and we also find out that Alexander was the voice of Ammit. After Layla defeats the zombie she runs into Harrow, and he tells her that Marc was one of the mercenaries that killed her father. Steven finds the statue that holds Ammit in Alexander's tomb. When Layla confronts Marc about her father's death, he tells her that he was there when he died. But he did not kill him, his partner did.

After this Harrow finds them and shoots Marc, and this is when things become very weird and interesting. Marc finds himself in a mental asylum, with Layla in it. We also see Harrow who seems to be the head of the asylum. Marc starts to remember what happened to him, and he manages to escape. As Marc is running away he finds a tomb with Steven in it, and they embrace each other. The final scene we get is Marc and Steven trying to find a way out, and they run into a hippopotamus god. This is a Egyptian god called goddess Taweret. I think that this god will help them escape and figure out what has happened.

Verdict - 8/10

This episode is the most interesting one yet, and there is a lot of moving parts to it. It seems like every episode the show just get's better and better, and I can't wait to see what the hell is going on. We got to see more of the lore of the gods, and this episode has raised the stakes for our main characters.
